Η κίνηση του Άλεκ Μπάλντουιν και της οικογένειάς του να ντυθούν για το Halloween και να αναρτήσουν τις φωτογραφίες σε μέσο κοινωνικής δικτύωσης, λίγες μέρες μετά το τραγικό δυστύχημα στα γυρίσματα ταινίας, όπου έπεσε νεκρή η διευθύντρια φωτογραφίας, Χαλίνα Χάτσινς προκάλεσε σωρεία αντιδράσεων στο twitter και το instagram, όπου η Χιλάρια Μπάλντουιν ανήρτησε τις φωτογραφίες. Οι αντιδράσεις μάλιστα ήταν αρκετές ώστε η κυρία Μπάλντουιν να περιορίσει τα σχόλια της συγκεκριμένης ανάρτησης.
Ένας χρήστης του τουίτερ έγραψε: Αφού ο Άλεκ Μπάλντουιν σκότωσε την κυρία Χάτσινς, παίρνει τη σύζυγό του για ψώνια στον Ralph Lauren, βγαίνουν το βράδυ ραντεβού και για κοκτέιλ. Θεώρησαν ότι ήταν πολύ διασκεδαστικό να πάνε για «φάρσα ή κέρασμα». Η Χάτσινς δεν θα το έχει ποτέ αυτό με το γιο της
Ενώ άλλος σχολίασε καυστικά: Η Χιλάρια Μπάλντουιν δεν ντρέπεται ή έχει τύψεις για όσα έκανε ο σύζυγός της μέσα από την απόλυτη ανικανότητά της. Τώρα δημοσιεύει φωτογραφίες της ηλίθιας οικογένειάς της όταν υπάρχει ένα αγόρι εκεί έξω που περνάει το πρώτο του Halloween χωρίς τη μαμά του. Είναι σχεδόν αηδιαστική και επιζητά τόσο πολύ την προσοχή.
